       Natural beef is safer.  If you’re like most people, you are concerned over the use of unnatural stimulants and chemicals that are fed or injected into beef to make them grow faster or unnaturally bigger.  Our goal at Pure Florida Beef is to take the worry out of eating beef.

 

         Natural beef tastes better.  From birth to finish, no steroids, antibiotics, hormones, animal by-products, or unnatural feeds are used in any stage of our production.  Every beef is finished on natural grains and hay so that you are assured a safe, healthy product that we think you’ll find tastes better than conventionally grown beef.

 

         Pure Florida Beef is grown in Florida.  In fact all our beef is from our own Florida grass-fed herds or from guaranteed natural sources.   Even most of the feed used to finish the beef is grown in Florida.  We take pride in our beef, personally monitoring every step of production to see that your beef is as nature intended, with no short cuts.  

 

         Pure Florida Beef is processed in Florida.  At USDA inspected processing plants, we custom cut and package whole or half beeves so that you determine how many steaks, roasts, or hamburger packs you get.  But we can also supply quarters.   All is vacuumed packed in clear plastic so you can see the freshness in every cut and so you are guaranteed long freezer life.  Care is taken to ensure the highest quality so orders may take from one to six months to fill, depending on the time of year you place your order.

Ordering Information

 

• Depending on time of placement, orders take from one to six months to fill.
• Costs will vary slightly since we sell meat by the pound and the weight of each steer will vary.
• The average 850 pound steer will yield about 325 pounds of pure packaged meat, which is the way we sell it…by the processed, packaged pound.  You only pay for the meat you get.
• The current price is $4.75 per pound of meat and is for the entire order, including ground beef, stew, roasts, and steaks.
• You may specify how you want your beef cut and packaged. 
• Unless requested, standard packaging is for 1” steaks, 1.5 pound packages of ground beef, 2-5 pound roasts and 1-2 pound packages of stew meat.
• An average half beef packaged this way would yield 25-30 steaks, 1-12 cubed steaks, 10-12 sirloin steaks, 4-6 roasts, 4-6 packages of stew meat, 40 packages of hamburger, and 3 packages of liver.
• However you can change.  For example, you could get thicker steaks.  You could get less ground beef, but more roasts or stew.
• Our goal is to not only produce a healthy product but to also satisfy each customer.

• For quarter beef orders we are required to cut and package standard as indicated above.  However, if two or four customers order together, they may request like packaging for the half or whole beef order.
• A quarter beef is simply a half side or whole beef divided equally...into two or four parts after packaging.
• Each quarter order receives the same number of packages of meat, the same cuts and pounds of meat.
• There is a $400 deposit for whole beef orders, $200 for half orders, and $50 deposit for quarter orders.
